About the event
Liberation theology is theology by and for marginalized people -- Black theology, Womanist theology, Latino theology, Mujerista theology, Indigenous theology, Asian theology, Queer theology, disability theology and more. Join us to de-center from white, straight, cisgendered and able-bodied theology and center those for whom Jesus came.
This month we will be discussing Queer Theology by Lynn Marie Tonstad. Queer Theology goes beyond apologetics (using scripture to convince people it's okay to be queer) and dives into the need to queer all of our theology. Curious what that means? Join us!
